CooperKatz & Co. posts to a company blog on a regular basis. The blog is open to the public and is a reference that potential clients and others follow to better understand the brand of CooperKatz. Below is an article I wrote for the blog about what makes an effective PR campaign.

As an intern at CooperKatz & Co., I tracked media coverage of wearable technology and re-actively pitched reporters covering the industry on behalf of Polar. Below is an example of a pitch I drafted and sent to a reporter for the Boston Globe.

I was a reporter for the Universe, the official newspaper of Brigham Young University.  The articles I wrote ranged in scope and subject and I have had three of my articles featured on the front page of the weekly paper.  More information about The Universe can be found here.

This article featured information about the one-year anniversary of the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints lowering the age young people can serve full-time missions for the Church. The article featured the impact these changes have had on missionary work.  The full article is here

This article was part of a package of stories focused on BYU safety and crime rate.  My article, "BYU apartments alluring to thieves" looked at the experience of some BYU students whose apartments had been burglarized and what students can do to prevent burglary. The full article is here

This article discusses the impact the new use of social media has had on missionary work for young people serving full-time missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  The full link to the article can be found here

Here are the links to additional stories I wrote:

"Manhattan mormons launch new missionary approach"
"German Christmas market will help Utahns focus on the true meaning of Christmas"
"Navajos gravitate to LDS church"
"LDS church partners with other religions- focus on shared values"
"Interfaith lecture series a huge success at BYU"

I worked on Nu Skin's social initiative project to provide an education and jobs to Africans living in Malawi. I compiled dozens of interviews with various African students who benefitted from the village sponsored by Nu Skin. The interviews were compiled in a book that was given at a special fundraising gala event for all people contributing to the project.
